THE CROSSROADS II @ 2ND & GREEN: A free downtown block party featuring the John-Paul Jones Group, live at 2nd & Green in Mount Vernon. Come downtown, bring some friends, listen to some music, and spend the evening with us. For nearly 25 years, I've been producing concerts that are free to the public, and for the most part I've covered the costs myself. All of the JPJG staff and musicians get paid for their work, regardless of how much income comes in from a show. That's important to me, and that's not changing. More than anything, I want to see a whole bunch of folks downtown at the block party, listening to some music and having a good time.

PASS THE HAT: In the old days, at a free show, block party, backyard party, or private party, we'd simply pass the hat. If you wanted to throw in a few bucks, you did. If you didn't, that was perfectly okay too. This is simply our virtual version of passing the hat.
